Got my golf swing speed checked at Dicks yesterday

111 mph! 
I've always hit the ball a long way, a well hit drive for me goes over 300 no problem. (subtle brag) Now if i can figure out how to putt ill be in business
By the way, the average swing speed on tour is 113

I'm positive the equipment used at Dicks is VERY SIMILAR to equipment used on professional golfers.

I have no idea who you are or what you look like, but I can promise you your speed wasn't anywhere in the range of 111 mph no matter what the machine said.

fyi, Dick's numbers typically aren't very accurate.
Go hit a on a tracman at a course where they're not trying to sell you a new driver.
110 here, but I'm attacking -5 and across 5. Carry 260-275. I bring my attack angle up 2-3 degrees and I've got very low end tour speeds and angles, reduce spin and carry 290-300 ish and gain another 20-30 yds on run out. Talking only my best swings here, not my average swings obviously.
ETA: I hit with the Titleist pro on a tracman at TPC for about 2 hrs about a month ago and got all my numbers

btw not to intrude on your story but I never told you about the time I walked up to the booth at the carnival and threw 97 mph, I had guessed 99 mph so I lost, but true story
