My shoulder popped a few years back while lifting weights. I really need to get it checked out in order to start lifting again. Do you guys know of a good reputable Surgeon in the NO area? Thank you

Get one that isn't lazy. He'll stop mid surgery and light up a joint.

J. Wills Oglesby in Nashville did mine.

He is a shoulder specialist and has worked on many MLB and NFL players. Fixed my very torn labrum and rotator cuff and I'm 100% now and play golf all the time.

Buddy Savoie. Be prepared to sit in the waiting room a long time because a lot of people know he is the best.

The best surgeon, no matter the specialty, is Alexander Zaldostanov. Hands down.

I know a guy named "Jim". He does a lot of patching up. Works the Sonic circuit. There ain't nothing old "Jim" hasn't seen. He'd get that shoulder working and a side of tater tots in no time. Just order a # 312. That's his call sign.

Mark Field in BR. Has performed surgery on LSU Baseball team members.

Has patients from outside of BR.

Buddy Savoie did my father and brothers torn rotator cuff surgeries over the last 10 years. They loved him.

This is the guy you want to use. This guy has done surgery on 3 of my friends and 2 of them are doctors and they have all had very positive things to say about him. His P.A. is a friend of mine and is very good also.

Golfer is correct. Savoie is the guy to go to. Even if you lived in baton rouge.

Brent is the knee guru, Mark Field the shoulder guy. Pretty sure Brent retired anyway. Chip is also a really good ortho (used to be team doc for Carolina Pathers)
