Looks like it's going to be hot as balls for the ride in today.

Typical SLa summer weekend. Hopefully the thunderstorms stay away and we're able to collectively get the ball rolling on the mobilization of the clean up effort.
Good morning everyone.
I'll be headed to BR this evening with a load full of donated stuff and I'll be staying until Monday offering up my young capable body to help start gutting houses and helping salvage what could possibly be salvaged. Hope to be able to get a ton done in the next 2 days.

I lost an old friend 2 Wednesday's ago. I had just talked to him the Subday before telling him to keep his head up and get/stay on the right path and things will work themselves out for the better..... Not sure if he OD'd or committed suicide fwiw

Thanks... Yeah I'm going to be calling Nurse's dad and seeing about stopping over at their place and helping move some of the heavier appliances and stuff out of their home sometime this weekend. Gotta help out fellow OTers when possible. I told nurse I'm not sure exactly when I'll have a chance yet, need to sit down with a list and calendar and start blocking off times im going to be at certain places so I can best be utilized.
Maybe a crazy question, would you bring some old composite toe VoLTE wth you to go help? Or just old tennis?l shoes?

I would wear some heavy duty shoes just in case you step on something sharp and if you will be moving appliances gotta watch dem toes getting smashed. shite hurts. Better safe than sorry applies here.
