Agree. Just give the guy some good advice and stop giving him stupid suggestions.
I agree with what another poster said; wherever he lives, there will probably be students somewhere. BR has “students” everywhere around LSU and S. BR. Students consist of law school students, residents, nursing students, grad school students and so on.
There is a FB page called LSU parents and students; subleases, roommates, housing, apts Baton Rouge. Lots of owners go on there to advertise their rentals, try to sublease, etc. It’s kind of late in the summer bc most everything is already rented but worth a shot.

I grew up on the west side of the river, so I'm partial to that area. not sure what his work hours would be like. crossing the bridge everyday during high volume times will suck

Huh? What are you talking about? That place is fine. All the cops go there to get free coffee so there’s always police patrol.

South Baton Rouge.

If your brother is young and single...maybe one of the new apartment buildings downtown.

A group made a really nice video a few years back that helps give potential residents of Baton Rouge some insight on different parts of town:

Thuggin It and Lovin It

The apartments off Corporate Dr. and along Jefferson Hwy, especially around Town Center, Bocage area, BR Country Club. There are some off Lobdell Blvd on LaSalle that are in a good area, but look kind of dated.
