Just got back from Houston Golf Club (Redstone). Weather was shitty but still a nice course. Nice to get invited to play such a venue.
I played like a newb, which I am, but it was still enjoyable. Caddy kept shaking his head at me playing that course for my first tourney.

Played Ron Jaworski's course "Riverwinds" in Philly yesterday. It was cold and drizzling for the first few holes. Front 9 had a few lackluster holes, but the back 9 plays right along the river with some good views back into the city and is really linksy. Shot 43-39 and hit every green in reg from 11-18.
Funny story...My buddy and I were the only ones out there and they told us we had to be in for 7:30. We lost track of time and they just left. Thing is, the course is across a highway and about 1/2 a mile from the club house. They locked all the gates, so my buddy had to hop the fence and hike to go get his car. I passed the clubs over the fence to him and just left the cart there. Nothing else we could do.
