Just like Shreveport, only poor trash south Louisiana cities don't have loops

Texarkana Country Club is a really nice old country club that Byron Nelson used to call his "little Augusta" and used it to practice leading up to the Masters. I've only played it once, but really enjoyed the course.

Mystic creek is unreal good. One of beat courses I've played. It is brutally hard though.

That's an hour and half from Texarkana.

I don't know much about golf around Texarkana. But Mystic is worth an hour and half drive. If you can handle the dome greens and length of the course.

Have you googled anything? You're also not too far from Hope. Just not sure what is there either.

That New Haven course looks worth a shot.

I've played Mystic Creek about 6 times and while it is a really nice course, I'd rather save the 1 1/2 drive and play Texarkana Country Club if you can get on there. Mystic Creek will make you question why in the hell you play golf
