I played it without a driver. Lots of long irons where I wasn't used it them. 3 triples.

Ouch, no 3 wood?
I had 2 triples and too many doubles due to my incredibly shitty putting today. Could not judge the greens to save my life. Still had a good time with it being my first time there though.

I hit my 3 wood too high. It a 15*. And instead of over bunkers... I was in them. I've got my new driver on order. Should be in this week. Just found a buyer for my old one sooner than I thought. Probably won't play again till its in.

What you switching from/to?

I hit about half a dozen at Edwin Watts about a month ago and left with the Fly Z. Love it so far.

Never fitted before. Had an RBZ bonded 10.5 stiff. Going to Ping G30 SF Tec 9* with X-stiff shaft.

I did my own fitting by hitting in the simulator till I found one I really liked I had RBZ stage 2 bonded and couldn't hit it worth a shite.
I've heard great things about the G30, you'll probably love it.

I got a semifitting. Basically had a certified coach take a look at me swinging a few difference clubs in the simulator. He basically said that for me it comes down to shaft stiffness and weight.

Ell, probably a stupid question but what is the difference between a bonded/unbonded driver??

Is it talking about the way the head is attached to the shaft??

G30 is fine if it doesn't break your eardrums

Adapter that can change settings or just a shaft glued into a head with no adjustments.
