After 5 long years without being a member of CC, I'm considering pulling the trigger on membership. Any members of Money Hill or Beau Chene on the OT? Looking for some pros and cons of each.

I've played both clubs (all 3 courses) a good bit over the past few year and obviously the members I play with are bias to their home clubs so no help there.

In my opinion, MH is the better course, but with BC you get two for the price of one. BC is about 15 minutes from me where MH is about 25. My family would probably use BC more due to its closer proximity.

Sounds like you won't get the answer you want.

I've been a member of both courses, currently at Money Hill. From a pure golf perspective, Money Hill is the better choice. However, if you are going to be using it a lot with your family Beau Chene would probably be better because of food, pool, tennis, bingo night, etc. Here are some pros and cons of each.

Beau Chene:
drains very poorly
consistently struggles with their greens (so slow)
Has great participation from members so if you like playing in tournaments or playing with groups of people its great.
Has indoor tennis
Great food and you will use this more with the fam due to proximity
Better pool area
Having the 2 courses is very nice
decent practice facility

Money Hill:
Even on a bad day Money Hill's greens are faster than Beau Chene's and roll better
course is prettier
pain in the arse to get to
Nicer club house
drains much better
Easier to get a tee time on the weekends

We used to sneak into BC and slay the bass on the golf course ponds back in the day.

That's all I have to offer.
