Go somewhere else. Anywhere else. Just got back from there and it blows. You could do all the same shite without the smell and rundown buildings in FL. Well maybe not without the smell , but def FL or another destination state would be much better .

Get back on the ship before it pulls out.

Probably the worst vacation I have spent money on. Way too touristy, trashy, and full of Mexicans trying to scheme a buck. Hated it.

A friend of mine wanted a few of us to go before he gets married. I didn't choose it, but am trying to make the best of it.

Awesome snorkeling. Go across to the other side of the island for some tranquillity. Eat at Ernesto's fajitas factory. Explore downtown San Miguel a little bit.
I love Cozumel. It's my paradise.

The highlight for me was renting a Jeep and cruising around the island. The southeastern part of it is gorgeous. If you are into snorkeling, it's a great place. Are you guys flying in or cruise?

This. You are better off staying in Playa del Carmen and just taking the ferry to Cozumel for a day trip.

And get mobbed by shop owners peddling their wares. So fricking aggravating.

Sails are north off isla mujares. The run is about over.

Try scuba or snorkeling.

There is a lighthouse you can drive to that's kinda cool. Celarain is the name. You can go up to the top if you want.

Also Chakanaab is a park you can spend time in. You can easily rent snorkel gear there and they have some great snorkeling there.

Go to the only REAL cigar store on the island--in the flea market near the big tourist mall thing.

Don't waste your money on any of the excursions. Go in with a few people and hire a taxi to show you around the island in a van. The real island.
