I didn't laugh until the sound track. That's not really my fault.

This video is the very definition of a going to hell video. The beginning has you feeling incredibly sympathetic and happy for the kid getting out there and trying. By the end I couldn't stop laughing cause of the song and the editing.

Like others, I thought it was kind of sad until the music started. Then I couldn't help but laugh.

In truth, the situation is sad. I understand the desire to include the handicapped in things they have historically been excluded from, but this is just stupid. If the coaches aren't riding his arse for missing blocks and he isn't getting lit up when he isn't "looking" the right direction, then he is NOT experiencing football. He is not playing football. He's playing some twisted version of pin the tail on the donkey so that some adults in his life can feel good about themselves.

On a brighter note, this kid would shine in a Lou Tepper defensive scheme.

Seems like an outstanding way for the kid to injure himself or someone else. How PC have we become as a society that now we have a blind kid playing a relatively dangerous sport? What's next, blind rally car drivers?

You see, I just can't get on board with shite like this. I'll never be:
- A physicist
- A famous actor
- A good dancer
- Someone that can draw anything other than a stick figure

I accept this. There are limitiations in life for everyone. Sure, this kid was dealt a bad hand, but frick, at some point we have to start telling the unfortunate ones there are some things you just can't do. Just because you're disabled in some way doesn't make you more special than every "normal" person that is limitied by their capabilities. /rant
