It sucks the big one for her. 37, 4 kids, a nurse and married to a captain in the army. Colon cancer which runs real bad in my family. 
She is getting treatments at MD Anderson. My sister and BIL have there kids and the treatments are expected to last up to 6 months.

My prayers for her Fish. I have been to MDA twice and it really is an amazing place IMO. She can beat this for sure.

Just swallowed a handful of vitamins with my first chug of coffee. Doc told me yesterday I need to not be having caffeine. He is trying to bring me down a notch, not wake me up. So I'll probably stick to just one grande size cup today and not go for seconds. Starting ritalin today. Haven't been on it since grade school.

I just wish I could find the rhyme or reason, but that is my own issue
And yes the Ritalin is for concentrating. I once was able to get by in school with just my charm and smarts. Now i'm back in school and just made 32, i'm having a hard time keeping up with these little zombies that have been doped up their entire life. I don't work in an office setting anymore, so the lack of concentration isn't as huge a deal as it once was, but even behind the bar when 4 people are spitting out what they want to drink, i catch myself not being able to make one drink without getting side tracked. Or i'll make a drink and by the time I get to the register to ring it up, i've already forgot what kinda beer they drinking. I was also in a really bad car wreck on 11/3 and it is all pretty much chalked up to me being distracted from the road which is a dangerous situation going 80mph..... so all in all the doc has been wanting me to try Ritalin again for several several months. With finals this week and my wreck last month, I gave in.
