What the caterpillars?? That is scary.
People up here think I'm making up the fact that there are stinging caterpillars all over the trees in the spring in Louisiana. I had to show them pics online before they would believe me.
Scorpions freak me out as well. Luckily in the 10 years I've been here....I've yet to see a live scorpion.

Yeah, those puss things. Apparently super super painful and a nasty rash but never heard of someone dying.

Yeah a lot of people here have pools. When we finally buy a home one day that is on the top of our must have list.
I have a friend in town that said we are welcome to use the pool at the hotel they are staying at today if we want. Hotel is like 5 minutes from my house. Gotta say, I'm tempted.

Yep we had some little slu's where I grew up when the water got low we would go beat the hell out the eels. Man we were brutal growing up in southern Louisiana.

Gotcha. I've never heard of them. Just saw something on fb someone posted about them being deadly
But yeah....I just googled more articles about them and all I'm reading is they are VERY painful. Dill....I bet you could always go to a nice hotel and see if you can pay a small fee to use their pool for the day. Most of the resorts here do that. I always say I'm gonna check one out one day but never have.

My wife sneaks into hotel pools to lay out all the time. I've always thought it was kinda weird but she's been doing it since college.
