I have some family and friends in Ville Platte. One person I know does the seasoning in the ice chest and swears by it. He's a damn good cook but it baffles me he does this. The other guy does it like most people and has it seasoned in the pot. They argue on this ALL the time. It's pretty funny to watch them drunkenly argue in their awesome ville platte accents
