Yeah but I guess what I'm asking is can you and him handle a removal or does it take 2 guys? And is it quick.

I'd say 2 guys. He's always just gotten one of his friends to help him. I don't even want to try helping him with that.

That makes me think I might want a soft top for summer and hard for winter

You can buy things that you install in your garage though that helps you hoist the top off by yourself. It lifts the top off and some of them you can just leave the top hanging from it to save space.

Yeah I saw those ....it really depends on which house we buy because most garages here are very very tight. Our current garage probably wouldn't even allow for the height of the jeep

You can get a dual top one, but they are pricey. You could always get a hard top and take it off during the summer and just buy a bikini top to so you can have coverage when you want. They make emergency rain covers you can buy for around $100 if you are driving without the top off and it suddenly rains and you need to immediately put a top on

Well it's meant for emergency situations....keeps you dry until you can get back home and put your hardtop on

I don't think the bikini tops look bad. They have so many options so you can make it look however you want.

I've always wanted a jeep. They just don't seem like their Wirth the money though.

We love ours. Guess it really just depends on what you want them for. Another thing to consider is they have a very good resale value. My husband traded in his 2013 Rubicon to order a 2015 Rubicon that was basically everything he ever wanted in a jeep. He was able to trade it in for only 4k less than what he originally paid for it 2 years ago. So he basically only paid 2k a year to drive it....not bad imo.
