You know with a troop of rednecks there is always the token dumbass, right?
Well Patrick forgot to put his skoal in the bear bag.
For those that don't know, you put food and scented stuff in a sack and tie it to a long rope.
The other end of the rope you tie to a rock and toss it over a high branch of a tree. Then you hoist the bag up high so there's nothing on the ground that a bear would want.
Anyway, a bear strolls through camp close to midnight and starts pawing at Patrick's tent.
Hilarity ensues. The bear did not give a shite about us banging on pots & pans. He ripped open the tent, ripped open Patrick's backpack, found the skoal, gave us a dumbass look, growled an moseyed off.
Needless to say, Patrick had to bury his underwear and finish the hike with a fricked up tent and pack.
Good enough?
