Ummmm... do you blame the fryer oil when dumbasses stick their hand in it?

Jack is stupid, but this is what happens when you coddle a kid for the first 16 years of their life.
You spend so much time protecting them they don't learn how to protect themselves... If Jack had been burned by some hot cheese dip at age five he might have not been burned by molten glow stick at at 16-18... 20 secs in the microwave Jack? In a pressurized container? Then you shake it?

Stupid kid, and you can tell its genetic by his dad who has become comfortable in the boundaries of his mental mediocrity.
A parent should be advising how to explore curiosity of how things work safely....not stifle it.
Nahhhh, that shite is just for the brainiacs. You know, the ones who need to write out instructions of what to do no matter how obvious it is.
And to answer the earlier question as to what it is supposed to do: the reaction rate of the chemical compounds is partially determined by temprature.
Higher temprature, faster reaction, more energy produced excites electrons in the dye, which then emits it as light.
AKA higher temperatures=brighter light for shorter time.

So they should ban hydrogen peroxide from medicine cabinets everywhere?
In any case, more damage was probably done by heat and glass shards than the chemicals.

Yeah, the whole claim smells.....those are nontoxic chemicals in those glow sticks.
They'll irritate exposed mucosa like a mofo though.

Someday a kid will pour gasoline on himself and light himself on fire and we will no longer have global warming...
