For you ranters that are more informed on either side - I cant pay attention to the extremes on both sides but would love to hear some informed feedback to this article on either side of the issue - LINK
Sure seems arrogant for these people to think they can fight nature and prevent something that has occurred countless times since this planet formed.

So you are calling me dumb because I don’t buy into the climate hysteria? I think people that buy into it are weak minded and dumb.

I don't post much, but found this video very interesting. I suggest you watch it.

We can calculate how many tons of CO2 are formed by burning fossil fuels. The increase of CO2 in the atmosphere and hydrosphere is much more significant than what's being created by humans which would suggest one of two things (1) the increase is from a natural warming cycle that's causing the ocean temps to rise which creates more water vapor/CO2 which then has a compounding effect or (2) the relatively insignificant increase from humans triggered the same compounding effect which is now building on itself. Fact of the matter is, we don't know which of these is true and anyone who pretends is speaking in ignorance or pushing an agenda.

So what's your solution to the problem?
Posted on 9/25/19 at 3:12 pm to Hiyoka
They have been predicting doom for the last 30+ years, and nothing has happened. All they do now is push the timeline back. Wrong about the coming disasters in 1995, 1998, 1999, 2002, 2008, 2012, 2015, 2018, just push that out to 2030, 2050 or now 2100.

Exactly.
If the problem is man made then The US is not at fault. We have been regulating ourselves for 45 years and still people want to blame us!
If someone really wants to make a difference then go plant a tree. It’s literally about the most effective thing any one person can do to address cO2 emissions

Earth is in more hot water than ever before, and so are we, an expert United Nations climate panel warned in a grim new report Wednesday. - wrong!

When do they not?
You'd think that since they've been so spectacularly wrong on every prediction since the 1st IPCC report, they might be a little more optimist in retrospect.
While it didn't do as well as it should have at the box office, you should watch the movie Tomorrowland. It gives an interest perspective on the effects of the neverending onslaught of doomsaying, negative news.

Environmental movement is nothing more than repackaged communism.
Why anyone would give a rats arse what a 16 year old girl has to say about climate is beyond me. Had I talked like that in public at 16, my dad would have told me to stop being stupid and go back to my room until I learn something.
My take, the Earth has been much warmer in the geological past. Furthermore there was a time when the earth's atmosphere was mostly c02 and could still support life. An was never so hot it could not support life. C02 is not a pollutant. The earth goes through warming and cooling periods as the sun goes through a cycle. With that all being said, we should all want clean air, clean water and should work to that end, but we should not use the environment as a means to limit personal liberties.

That should tell you all you need to know about the current climate "crisis."
We play a part. It is true, though, that the majority of the problem is China and developing nations.
Andrew Yang is about the only Presidential candidate that mentions it and wants to work to help make sustainable energy feasible for those countries.

I keep my AC on 68 and I drive a large truck and SUV and hardly ever recycle and I sleep well.
The end may be coming, but it is not of our doing.

No! It Is Not!
I remember playing summer ball tournaments in 1980. They forced us to stay over on Sundays, so we wouldn't have to play during the hottest parts of the day
1700 people died from heat stroke that summer. Eff global warming. Its manmade hype

It’s a manufactured “crisis” intended to consolidate power.
As much as I enjoy making fun of that little girl, it’s kind of sad when you realize that the people pushing this doomsday crap are happy to make use of mentally unstable kid they pushed over the edge.
