My a-hole dog chewed my fiance's (no pics) glasses. Only a few bite marks on the lenses, not that deep.

Anyone know any good DIY repairs before I drop $300 so she doesn't shoot the damn dog?

INB4 "Google" - I tried that

What would the non glasses part be on a pair of glasses?

Lenses can't be repaired. Gotta get new ones.

Just take it to one of the windshield chip repair guys. You know, one with a tent next to the car wash that gets all pushy insisting your insurance will cover it.

Try bringing the prescription to walmart, you might be able to get a cheap replacement. That's what I do to get a second pair of backup glasses.

Why would anyone pay $300 for glasses in the age of Zenni, Eyebuydirect, etc?

Because $300 glasses make you look like this. Obviously.
