Girlfriend Going Through Stint of Depression

So for that past ~month my girlfriend has been in a pretty low spot. She isnt at the 'stay inside all day and mope' stage, but she isnt far from it. College athlete so I think that is the only thing keeping her out the house. She is saying that she doesnt see enough of me, that she lost alot of her friends, that she is lonely down here (shes from out of state) and she wants to go home.
I dont get it because we used to go party all the time and I/her friends still invite her to but she just doesnt have any of it and just wants me to stay at home with her. I told her that she needed to find a reason to get up everymorning and she said she cant. So last night in bed I told her there are counselers on campus if she feels the need to go talk to one and her response was "I'm not crazy....I want you to leave". So I went home. What do I do?

Sounds like she is home sick, not clinically depressed.

Thats another thing about it, she trys to lure me to stay back with sex. I thought depressed people sex drive was way low. Her's skyrocketed

Find some activities you can do during the day or go hiking or camping one weekend. Give her something to look forwarto doing and it should distract her (at least for a couple of days)

I would never, ever, ever once in a million years believe that a woman would use sex to get what she wants. I honestly just cannot conceive that a woman would stoop to doing this. Nope, never. Not once. Can't believe it.
