A. She took Uber Select
B. She took Uber Select under a 5.9x surge
C. I'm sure there is more to the story concerning the route, like she wanted to go one place but changed her mind mid-ride and at that point was probably too late with contraflow to not take interstate

This story still takes the cake. Frat star from Austin is in New Orleans for the weekend. Gets drunk on Bourbon and thinks he is in Austin. Takes $1300 taxi from Nola to Austin. Gets to Austin, realizes he is supposed to be in New Orleans and flies right back.

the driver was forced to cross the bridge? he couldn't go another way? Why she she have to pay because the drive doesn't know where he is going?

Uber is pretty good about refunding in a situation where the driver screwed you for a higher fare

For a girl that walk is very dangerous. It is dark all the way down Nicholson. That Uber driver is a complete POS.
