He's still going out there. He found another lawn mower from somewhere and has fixed most of it

Really? If I lived next to a "weird methed up maniac" I would say FML, if he was doing things like cutting his yard with a weed eater in the middle of the night I would really say FML! Congrats on the rest of your life being better but you really need to find a better living situation.

Neighbor down the road was working on his lawnmower in his attached garage when it backfired through the carb air intake and caught on fire. By the time he returned with a fire extinguisher his whole house was on fire. It's totaled.

Like that episode of Breaking Bad where the meth heads are digging holes all in their front yard all day and night.
I've heard that some damn good mechanics are fond of meth because they will work their asses off and are very meticulous. Don't know how true it is. Read they are good at identity theft and forgery too because they get so meticulous and involved in their work.
Obviously there's a fine line where they have to get some rest though.

Depending on how much product they have they can stay up for unbelievable lengths of time. After a few days it takes more and more just to get back to awake. Let alone charged up.
