My son was pressured into resigning his lease at one of the apartment complexes around LSU for the next school year. He found a place that is cheaper and a better situation for him. Is there any ways to possibly get out of the lease?

Why not ask the leasing office instead of here?

You don't have a son. You have a daughter.

It may be more than that. Like way more.

Like 80% of monthly rent until they can find a new tenant.

Don't pay any more rent. Very unlikely they will take him to court.

He can for at least half of the full lease. Or he can try to sub-lease the unit.

Um, read the lease and see what it says about early termination?
