I absolutely love my pool. I get in it most everyday though usually for only 10 to 20 minutes. I still wouldn't trade it.
I would definitely recommend a Polaris Cleaner, the other stuff would be personal preference.

Do not get a liner pool. Go with a fiberglass. Salt water is a must.

Don't do it.
Best advice ever.

Yes on Polaris, although I would look into the cleaning jets. If you have underwater stools.etc then def out for cleaning jets.
I highly recommend the salt. I switched and had almost no maintenance for 5yrs other than adding a little salt when it rained too much and cleaning off the generator three times a year or so.
And yes I could tell a huge difference. My saltwater pool provided some type of buoyancy or effervescence difference than my traditional chlorine that is fricking amazing for hangovers. I dont give a shite what some of these naysayers are whining about.
frick the whirlpool. Separate detached spa is much better and costs far less to heat up.

Huh? When I switch my controller to "spa mode", no water over flows into my pool. So, I am only hearing the water in the spa and yet when I treat the pool, clean the filters, whatever...I am taking care of the pool and spa at the same time.
I like my set up.
