Get a fence and gait that's impossible for small children to get through on their own, even if you have no kids yourself.

Thanks for the tips.

We are hiring the most reputable contractor in Montgomery. We have a privacy fence already and all of our children are in their teens.

Thanks again.

How many times a year do you go swimming right now? If the answer is not a lot, then don't buy a pool.

We both love the water and have 4 teenagers. We'd much rather them bring friends over doing something constructive and active than be out running the roads.

A salt water pool will be easier to maintain and save you a small fortune in pool chemicals. No to heater and no to hot tub as well. 90% of the people I know with hot tubs never use them. They are a bigger pain in the arse to maintain than pools and are full of bacteria.

Check on the basketball goal and diving board.

We weren't getting a "hot tub" so to speak. Just a jetted whirl pool on the side with an overflow into the pool to just sit and chill in. It's a $3500 option, so I haven't sold myself on that yet.

They also have jetted underwater "benches" that would probably serve the same purpose. We're also thinking of a small decorative waterfall at one end. Anyone had experiences with either of these?
