Let's take stock of what we had going on in Miami...

There's an autistic guy sitting in the street playing with a toy truck. Next to him is his councilor laying flat on his back, hands up in he air, while he clearly identifies himself and the autistic guy next to him. Neither guy is making any threatning moves.

So how does the cop react to the situation? Well time to shoot someone.

Hey, man, he just wants to go home to his family at the end of the day.

Boy, some binoculars would have been really beneficial in this situation. I have no problem with the cops showing caution when approaching the scene, but they had to see fairly quickly that the entire situation was big misunderstanding and no gun is involved. They made it out to be a hostage situation or something. That's mistake one

Here's my issue, if they really thought it was a hostage situation, why cuff the "hostage" they just "accidentally" shot?

I really can't think of any logical explanation, other than gross incompetence. What you said seems to rule out that they were never shooting at the black guy or thought he was a "suspect" or whatever you want to call it.

You could say the officer just literally accidentally hit the trigger...but he shot 3 times.

I don't know, I can't figure out any rational explanation as to what happens.

Is this true? None of the articles I read said anything about three shots.

I thought the same thing. It makes no sense.

And the fact that three shots were fired clearly shows that it was no accident. The officer meant to shoot the gun. At what or who is the question, and why.

In pretty sure they all just shite the bed once the shots were fired, missed their completely innocent target, and then one hit another innocent bystander.

Not sure if they wear bodycams, but if they don't, the cell phone video is huge for the guy who was shot. Apparently it doesn't show the shots fired, but it does go a long way to giving you the context of the situation.

One thing that just struck me is whether the union saying he was aiming at the autistic guy might make any charges worse. Admitting that seems to open you up to criminal and civil liability for both people, if that wasn't already the case.

But the cops' actions after the shooting insinuate that they viewed the black guy as a suspect of some sort and not an innocent bystander.

So we know this for sure? I haven't been watching this closely, but I have not seen video of the shooting. Just the moments before. But we don't know what happened between when the camera stopped rolling and the shot was fired.

So now its coming out that the cop was aiming for the autistic guy. Wow i almost feel like this is the cops way of trying to appease BLM.

"Look I know i fricked up but i didnt mean to. I promise Im not racist! You see I was actually trying to hit the nonblack guy. Because it was my belief that the black guy was in danger and I was just simply trying to show that his black life matters"

If BLM really cared about the issue of police over use of force this would be a great case to make that point on. This is case that almost all people regardless of skin color can look at it go WTF. The fact that they seem to have basically ignored this shows if they can't get massive headlines from it they don't want it.

I saw it much more as a rushed poorly thought out statement trying to some how save face for their union member. The Union said this not the department.

It was also a Hispanic cop. They can't get the headlines from that.

Though, I noticed the news was calling him a white Hispanic this morning.

An autistic dude and a black dude walk into a bar. The autistic dude orders a shot, but the black man takes it laying down.

This is disgusting.

Then the racist will say there isn't a problem.

An Iowa football player had four cops draw weapons on him saying he was possible bank robber. They strip searched him in the park and searched all of his stuff. All he was doing was listening to music and playing Pokemon GO in the park. The real suspect was 5'9 140 pounds. The Iowa football player was 6'3 290. They said he matched the description!!

They almost killed him.

God have mercy.

What makes man truly evil is seeing evil and ignoring it. No different than JoePa ignoring that pedophile bastard.
