Someone from Clayton County that knows how to use the periodic table should probably be Grand Marshall at the next College Park City Parade.

Holy crap she couldn't even be bothered to look up the spelling. For some she wasn't even close. Not only should she not be allowed to walk, she should retroactively flunk chemistry.

I just noticed that too. I first thought Utranium was just an atom on the two lower rows off the periodic table. I completely skipped over the misspellings of phosphorus and sulfur too haha. She should be given a pop chemistry test to be able to walk

The administration really didn't think to look up those elements, after the meme from last year? And now they're punishing the student when they were dumb enough to let it go to print?

Anything that makes it through in the yearbook, no matter what it is should keep a school from letting a kid walk. The only way I would agree with the school on this is if the girl was editor of the yearbook and pushed it through herself with NO ONE else seeing it.

I just did a sidewalk project for my high school that allowed the seniors to get engraved brick pavers and I installed them in a new section of sidewalk that will grow as classes come through the school. The principal asked me what I thought when it was done and the first thing out of my mouth was that I was shocked they let people put whatever they wanted on them. A few of the kids put their nicknames on them, half put class of 2014 while the other half didn't, one girl had a saying on it. There was no consistency to them and I asked who was in charge of getting that stuff together, no one seemed to really know who had final take on the list. bullshite nicknames seem cute now but if you look at it 5 or 10 years from now you will face palm being called "savage" and being dumb enough to put it on your brick with you real name above it.

LuckySo-n-So was expelled from H.S. two weeks before graduation for a similar stunt.

It's Clayton County. One of two systems to lose accreditation since 1969. The fact that they caught it is major miracle.

Dude. Clayton county. The fact that she made it to graduation, doesn't have illegitimate kids(yet), probably doesn't have aids, and not dead or in jail is a rarity. She gets a pass

I agree, my youngest son marches Friday. He's getting a bunch of awards and scholarships tomorrow at class day. I still am a little nervous as to what he might say or quote in the yearbook. We shall see. Good news is he is the last of mine to graduate from high school.

What morons. They ought to be celebrating that they have among their student body a future scientist and not another wannabe gangster walking around with his pants around his knees.

Aside from all of that, are there any kids left in the world that share the same last name as their parents?
