This isn’t a pro or anti vax thread. Just facts. My history:

COVID positive July 2020
1/2021 plasma donation - positive for antibodies
2/2021 plasma donation - positive for antibodies
Vax 1 - March 2021
Vax 2 - April 2021
No booster
6/2021 - full blood donation, antibodies “high” per new testing protocols
8/2021 - full blood donation, antibodies “high”
1/2022 - full blood donation, antibodies “high”

I did have a cough between thanksgiving and Christmas, but didn’t get tested. Was it Omicron or just a cold? Who knows.

Staying healthy by exercising 5x a week. Life is good.

Have no idea what you’re trying to convey with this thread. But good for you I suppose.

Go donate plasma at one of those Plasma centers, CSL, or somewhere similar. Seriously, a lot of people depend on the IGG they get out of the plasma

It was ommycron, pretty much everyone got it.

And yes, if they could they would still require you to take Pfizers omicron vax.

There’s actually a blood and plasma shortage in a lot of areas right now so thank you for your donation.

I need to go donate myself but I was anemic not too long ago and want to make sure my iron levels are up enough that it won’t drive me back down.

That's a different type of plasma that they depend on.

Who are they?

Many diseases are treated using IVIG.
Lots of immune-deficient patients depend on the IGG.

There are four types of IGG and the covid one is not the one you want to give someone in a transfusion.

I have been donating every 8 weeks since having COVID in July 2020. I have had antibodies ever since. Most recent donation, last week.

Exercising 5 times a week is probably the kicker in all of that. And, you probably had the Omicron variant, all things considered!

Are you selling plasma? Do you post while you “donate”?

this is a very idiotic statement.

yes, there are four sub-types of IGG and it's very important for an immune-deficient person to receive COVID antibodies through their regular infusions.

Donated Friday of this week. Still waiting for them to post my results. They used the Alyx machine this time since I’m type O and in high demand. It took a little longer and the machine took out my red blood cells and returned everything else. It was weird as frick. It sucked blood for 5 mins then pumped a clear fluid back in for 5 mins. Didn’t feel as bad afterwards.

My history;
1st Vax Dec 2020
2nd Vax Jan 2021
No booster
High antibodies as of December 2021 when I donated blood.
Covid + since last Wednesday and fever/sore throat everyday since.

I usually never get sick and was away from the hospital for a week, when I popped positive. It's weird, I'm exposed at work everyday and haven't caught it for two years.
