Can't wait to people watch. There will be so much trash to see. Will probably bring headphones so I can stream some decent music during the actual concert.

I got 3 tickets on the aisle section 124 for Saturday night at 7.

I hated that he added the 10:30 show to Saturday night but I looked online and people were saying that a lot of times the 10:30 show doesn't even start until 11:30. Every show has a different set list ranging from 28 songs to 35 songs. I think every show will be fun.

Nice, now that there's a Sunday show I'll be able to go. Anyone have some suite tickets for that night they want to part with?

We're going Sunday at 730. You can find a pair right now for Sunday. The whole "ITS SOLD OUT" freakout was kinda bullshite. Trying to find 4+ tickets is difficult but 2 was easy as pie 20 minutes ago. GF got 3 pair all pretty close.

It was sold out but now the tickets bought with invalid credit card numbers are starting to bounce back. That's why there are some available now.

What? I'm pretty sure it would kick back immediately.

I'm pretty jacked up about this show. Got 4 floor tickets for Sunday and then was able to get a single on the floor for Friday night too. Should be one hell of a weekend.

What type of presale did you have?

With all the shows added there is probably suites open. Just a little google searching will find the girls name that books them and you can put up to 22 in a suite, 12 seats, plus 10 SRO. You get some parking passes and the price was less than you would expect. Just have to have someone book it with a card on the front end...

Maybe I'm out of the country music loop these days but how in the hell did that many shows sell out that fast??? Is it 1995 again?

I'm not bashing, just shocked!

1) There's certainly an element of nostalgia.
2) Country music today, for the most part, is garbage.
3) Garth actually still puts on a pretty incredible concert.
4) He doesn't do tiered ticket prices. Every ticket in the building is $75.

eta: I think people forget exactly how big he was at his apex. Not to mention he "retired" at 38.

He hasn't played in Louisiana in almost 20 years, and when Garth was big is when country music really took off and became mainstream, so it's no surprise that a ton of people were fans of his back in his prime and want to see him again.

This is a list of solo artists that have sold over 100 million albums. I can't stress enough how amazing this is for a country artist to listed much less be #6.

Elton John - 178.7m
Rod Stewart - 145.5m

He hasn't been to Louisiana in 18 years. A bunch of us grew up on his music and never had a chance to see him live

Yeah, we going to the 7:00 show on Saturday. Just booked a room at the Renaissance Pere Marquette. That way we can have a good time and not worry about driving home
