I had to look at this post's time stamp. True at time of posting.

So she sang one of her songs and that's supposed to be a political move?

Weak.

Several of the songs she sang had references to God or The Lord. Didn't seem overly liberal to me at all.

The pledge is political nowadays. Maybe that's what she meant. Chalk one up for the good guys, finally.

I will admit it. She can sing her a$$ off.

Quick fact.

Did you know that she is a trained opera singer! True

Well she is Catholic and has publicly admitted that she still believes in God.

Since the NFL lost a lot of viewers over the kneel down shti, you think they coordinated with Gaga to say the pledge?

No, I think she believes in God and is patriotic.

Remember she did sing the national anthem at a previous SB(last year).

I really can't say I was all that surprised, though.

After Gaga knocked it out of the park singing the national anthem last year at the Super Bowl, I wasn't surprised to see her with a patriotic message in her halftime show. Go back and watch that national anthem. You can tell she really feels what she's singing.

As for the halftime show, I think the nation really needs to love each other and the USA again... and her intro message to the show was much appreciated.

Though this is only my personal point of view... I will always respect her for emphasizing "Under God" in the pledge. That was a strong statement.

I am not a Lady Gaga fan, but I thought she did a pretty good job. She slid a protest song in there, but I don't have a problem with that.
