I went to a funeral Saturday and was told that the funeral home had a problem with poachers in the family lounge.

Sure enough, they had to ask some strangers to leave!

Anyone else have stories?

Chaz and I usually just pick up hot bitches to sleep with. Funerals make women really horny.

I think that's great.

I posted a thread earlier about people eating samples at the grocery store for their meals.

that is kind of shocking to me, for some reason. why the frick would someone do something like that for a finger sandwhich and deviled eggs and that kind of shite. It is not like you are getting fillet mignon...

ETA: I am not really sure why they couldn't arrest a couple of folks and that crap would be over.

That's kinda sad. Perhaps they should have fixed them a plate to go?

I had a couple crash my wedding. MF'ers were hogging the boiled shrimp and someone said something. I figured they were with my in laws and they thought they were my family. I finally confronted them and the dude took off for the parking lot and left his old lady behind. BRPD security, it was at Boudreaux's on Government, ended up beating the guys arse in the parking lot and arresting them both. It was pretty entertaining.

In all my 45 years, I have never seen a viewing or funeral involving food. Is this an LA thing?

Everything we do involves food and booze. How do you not know this?

Yes. Food in a break room is common at a well run funeral home.

Families appreciate it. Some family friend will always bring a dish or sandwich tray. Some families ask the funeral home to arrange something. Wine is common.

It can be a long day for the family.

I had a cousin once who seemed way more excited about the food than sad about her dead dad. I'm not saying she killed him for finger foods, but I have my doubts.

It's cool, it's just not common around East or North Texas I guess. Hey, eat up. Wish I could have at many.

I'm still eating the fried chicken from Sat. night. It still tastes like frog legs.
