Fridge without power how long?

So we lost power this morning and haven't gotten it back. And of course my generator broke. How long do the items in the refrigerator have in your opinion?
Non-OT Baller fridge by the way. Just a regular one not a subzero.

At least a solid 48hrs unless you're standing there with the door open.

Don't open the door and it'll last a while. The freezer is easy to test the food, the fridge, toss it.

I threatened the others in the house under the penalty of death not to open it. So I should be good there. Just sad my beer is trapped in there.

Well, grab the beer and get some ice.
But don't open it again!!

Fill with ice if you can. Regardless, cover it in blankets to add more time.

Get your beer out. You can always buy another fridge.

quote:umm no not even close. 12-14 hrs after that you can start throwing stuff away. that time is also depends on how much it was opened just before the power went out, and of course the ambient temperature. a chest type freezer full is good for about 48 hrs.
48hrs
