Oftentimes these geniuses are really difficult to work with and live with....maybe he was a real jerk and got his just desserts? At 44 his salad days were just past him.

I shall not quibble over punny little things such as this. Salad days are the days one one's youth. 44 is iffy at best.

Highly driven achievers are at risk for depression. Work hard and sacrifice everything for your dream or goal and where you get there it's either not what you think or they don't have anything else to achieve, things can't be any better than the pinnacle of success.
