Kind of funny that they think he might have been gay

That's the best explanation for such irrational behavior and beliefs. I'd bet that dude has had homosexual contact in his life.

Is he going to sue God for wrongful termination?

The ones who are the most anti-gay they ALWAYS are... you know Roy Moore is a flaming super queer.

I hated that guy. Some young man would sacrifice his life to protect his country. He'd join the military and tragically die and on the day we all stood to remember this fallen soldier this ahole and his group would protest. I mean what happened to common decency?

So I hear he's dying and I can only think good, but I guess the Christian in me thinks maybe the guy had a change of heart. Probably wrong.

Can't happen soon enough as far as I'm concerned.

Would be a hilarious troll if thousands and thousands of people show up to picket his funeral, but I'm just gonna ignore it and not give them a bit of attention.

I've always assumed that after his death, metric shitons of gay porn will be found in his house and computer.

I hope every homosexual in California shows up at his funeral dressed in their 'pride' costumes.

While I think it would be great if people ruined his funeral, I think it may be better if nobody showed up just to show how little this guy means to the world. These losers are hoping people show up, I'm sure.

You know, I have never understood the silly internet outrage at this guy who kept his proper distance in his right to protest on public property.

The group is silly ,but the outrage I thought was far more foolish as many of the families never really noticed the Phelps protestors anyway.

People worship the military so much it seems it was simply just too much to simply ignore the damn guy.

It would be funnier if they toned it down and showed up with more subtle 'gay' outfits, and behaved respectfully.

It cracks me up that this house is across the street from their compound.

Fred Phelps played an integral part in the evolution of American attitudes toward the gay community. He and his irrational family of followers help people to see how warped and distorted your worldview can become when you let your sense of right and wrong be dictated by a 2,000 year old holy book that has little relevance in today's society. Hats off to Fred for showing people the dangers of taking a 2,000 year old book literally.

Nope - I want both sides to act disrespectfully.

I want the funeral to be a circus.

I want it to be so raucous the police will have to quell it.
