Going to be moving back to the Northshore soon. Which is better now? Stone Creek will probably be too much out of the way.

PAC is fine. Has everything you, wife, and kids would need.

Plus, the traffic going towards Francos might make ya wanna just go home and eat chips if you're going in the evenings.

Pelican is nicer and not as crowded.

I called PAC and asked if I joined, could I hit the heavy bag when there were no boxing classes going on. They said NO, they only way I could hit the bag is if I joined (and paid for) the class.

You could buy your own heavy bag for a few month's worth of those classes.

Pelican would be my preference over the two. What are the membership rates running nowadays?

Don't go hit the speed bag at Franco's. It's annoying as shite listening to that freight train while trying to work out. Worst thing about Francos. Need to move that damn thing.

If you can afford Stone Creek it's well worth whatever extra drive, probably 10 minutes extra at most.

I would love to join there, but I'll be going between Mandeville near the lake and work in Slidell. The traffic will just be too obnoxious to go to Stone Creek

This. I've been a member of Franco's and worked out at PAC a few times. They're not even in the same league as Stone Creek. If you can afford it SC should be your choice

From where you will live PAC is probably what you want. Has just about everything you need and is a very friendly place.

If you're basing your decision on traffic I'd go with PAC. Trying to get down 22 to Franco's is almost as bad if not worse than going to SC

Stone Creek is the nicest but the worst weight room.

PAC has the best weight room, Francos has the best sports performance room.

Francos has some extra amenities that middle aged women eat up as well as Racquetball courts.

PAC has better tennis courts

Pool areas are about the same unless you are a child and want to ride a slide

PAC in a better location traffic wise and isn't as crowded.

I prefer PAC overall personally
