Did the same to the F-150 Lightning, too. How many buyers did they just eliminate?? The car doesn't even qualify for the federal tax break, either.

The Verge

You would now pay for the GT Extended Range edition: $69,895.

frick all that.

That’s to account for the government subsidies.

Thanks Joe.

and its a complete unrelated coincidence, that the government announced, it is going to be giving out $8k incentives to people who go buy electric vehicles.

nothing to see here, these things are completely unrelated to each other

Hey, they have to offset that tax break to buyers somehow.

It is all a racket.

It’s amazing….. democrats offer a 10k tax break on electric vehicles purchases and manufacturers then raise prices up to 10k.

Makes me wonder if the same thing will happen with colleges once the government steals hard working Americans money to pay off the loans of the elites dumb kids.

Just kidding, of course that will happen. It’s a feature not a bug.

Ford isn’t the only automaker raising prices on its popular EV models. A recent analysis of millions of car models found that EV prices saw a year-over-year increase of 54.3 percent, while gas-powered cars were up just 10.1 percent.

These companies lie cheat and steal to get people to buy these damn things, then it can turn out that you can’t actually get the credit that they told you about.

We are assuming that MOST of these kids with school debt have jobs and are paying federal income taxes, right?

The average college grad’s starting salary is $55,000. How much do you think these kids pay in taxes per year? Lets’s assume that most have been working for more than one year.

Is what they have paid in federal income tax accounted for at all in your statement?

My buddy bought an electric Mustang. I gotta say it’s pretty fine! He loves it. Of course the regular Mustangs are nice too!

LOL. Granholm and Booty-G were telling fools to buy EVs, cause gas was too expensive. So now what happens?

I bet we don't hear anything about greedy car makers.
