For those familiar with Clear Lake in Desoto Parish (flood pictures)

There's a small park and boat ramp down there:



The water is right up to the level of the road across the bridge:



Driving across is a little uncomfortable because it looks like the water is higher than the bridge roadway:



This was "normal" from the overgrown boat ramp:

Damn. It needed a good flushing.

That last pic is sad. It's not dry, the salvania got so thick grass started growing on top of it.

the last pic is quite deceiving

that "field" is the lake that is probably 10-15' deep

Maybe that will help, we had to drain and then spray our pond for a year to get rid of salvinia.

no shite? thats crazy, yeah this will be good for a lot of the lakes and waterways in the long run, but obviously not worth the loss of life and property
