I moved to Houston in 2014 after my entire life in Louisiana. I moved to Austin in March 2017.
I can honestly say that I hope I never, and I mean never, have to live in Louisiana again.
I miss my family and some friends, but the state of Louisiana offers nearly nothing for me and countless other young professionals.

And Texas is so much better than Louisiana is almost every aspect except food in one city.

It's about 50% a hate on Louisiana board. Louisiana has its problems for sure but I'd live here over a lot of states. I used to travel for work so I've been to 42 states.
