I'm happy with my wife, but if we get divorced, I don't think I'd marry again

I would be the same way, although it would be along the lines I do not think I could find another woman worthy of her spot.

My kids will only have one mother and me only one true love.

Yes to my wife.

No less happy than I would be if I was single. Probably more happy that I've got someone to shoot the shite with whenever I want to.

This is a completely different question. I have the same me time as I had before I got married but we don't have kids yet. Once I have kids, I don't think it will be my wife holding me back as much as I think it will be me wanting to be there for the kids.

My wife is great. She’s definitely insane at times, but I couldn’t imagine life without her and our kids. Choose wisely and all will be well.

100% me. No chance I am getting married again. After 27+ years I have experienced marriage. I am good.

After kids my only ME time is work and the gym. But I go to a gym with a robust mens locker room so that time is very rejuvenating.

If something happens to my hubby, I’m done. I’m very happily married and don’t regret it but I’d never risk losing half my retirement and paying alimony for someone I wasn’t raising children with.

Would I go back and marry my wife? Yes. Will I ever marry again if I outlive her? No.

The things in life that make me unhappy aren't my marriage.

I mean, yea you aren't going to get as much ME time as you would when you're single, but my family accommodates my hobbies. We also do a lot as a family, so i've got plenty of us time as well.

My wife of 40 years passed away and I said no fricking way will I ever get married again. Not because I had issues with the first marriage, I did not, it was great. Five years after my wife's death I got married again.

Choose wisely.

Would I marry my wife if I had it to do over? Yes. We're happy 26 years & 3 kids later.

I am actually happy & my wife is a large part of that.

ME time? Young kids? It can be slim. Older kids, more ME time.

Would I get married again if something happened to my wife. NO, I already had a successful marriage. I think I'd rent from here on out.

If something happened to my wife, no I’d not get married again. I don’t think it would be worth it.

Yes I’m actually happy and have been for the last 30 years.

I don’t really have any “Me” time and never really did. My wife and I always did everything together. When kids show up your “me” time is gone. I devote 100% of my time to my family. I’m here for them, it’s my job as a husband/father and I take great joy in it.

Married life is better than single life if you have the right partner.

I have my share of complaints but they are all petty. I realize that I am a very hard person to live with. I'm incredibly lucky to have a woman like my wife around. I can live with her piling trash on top of the garbage can instead of taking it outside.

I have Fridays off. I've never pushed it to see how much I could get away with but I hunt or fish every weekend. One weekend I'll hunt Thursday evening through Friday and come home Saturday morning. The next I'll hunt Thursday evening and come back before lunch on Sunday. She's never complained. I have buddies whose wives would leave them if they did half as much as I do. Either my wife is awesome or Jody is helping me out.

The right in laws can help out a lot. I don't care for my sister in law but my myself and two brother in laws hunt and fish together almost every weekend. I gained a lot of awesome family members out of the deal.

All these guys saying they are happy are worried their wife will read their post, and then have to live the after affects.

True day, true dat.

That's why IF you get lucky, you show your appreciation.
