Same here. I went to river oaks as a kid and my parents still live in Avalon. The flood put a damper on their plans to move so looks like they are staying for a while

I lived in the Woodlands for a number of years. Place looks like crap since the flood - FEMA trailers everywhere. Really sad.

Between the shooting last night on i-10 @ Poydras, Marrero convenient store, the armour truck driver today on Tulane ave and now this - it's been a pretty shitty last 24 hours in south louisiana. It's going to be a long summer.

30, I used to have a lot of friends who lived on/off of Gloria. Back then it was a decent place to live but since Katrina Gloria has gone downhill fast
