Yup. Seems to be the consensus. I'm wondering who got any, and how.

I tried to buy some to the surprise show at the Ryman in Nashville on Halloween night. Not happening.

There are no "tickets." It's will call only. You show up with your other party, produce your ID and credit card, and get your armband to go in. No way to transfer tickets.

Same here. That was as instanta-sellout of a show as I've ever seen here in Nashville. 30 minutes later craigslist was littered with the carcases of desperate fans that didn't get tickets.

it never ceases to amaze me how many people are foo frickers. But I guess if you're a foo fricker than a show as small as the HoB would be cool.

o reason I shouldn't have gotten tickets

The reason was that there were probably 20,000+ people fighting for 500.

There's every reason. There were only 100 tickets to sell. That's only 50 transactions. It selling out in seconds is expected, and reasonable.

Just sucks that we weren't in that number.

Actually you can but they've made it much more difficult. The scalper has to essentially eat one of the tickets in order to "sell" the other one. Foo and the Ryman here in Nashville were very vigilant against scalpers, going as far as identifying tickets that were being resold, cancelling those and reselling them to true fans. Although don't count on that for this show since it is an all GA show.

I guess. Would be a huge pain in the arse for a scalper to have to go down to HOB, meet up with someone, wait in line with them to then get the two bracelets put on.

Just seems like a pain in the arse to make $100 bucks. Wouldn't be worth it to me, but then again, my time is really valuable.

Looks like my wife doesn't really want to go. Guess I'm bringing a friend. No way I would want to go with some stranger for a 150 bucks

IMO, they are one of the most overrated bands of the last ~15 years. Especially their new stuff, I just don't think it's very good.

You know you don't HAVE to hang out with the stranger after scalping your ticket
