What are the side effects? Is it normal for you ejaculate to be minimal?

Relaxes smooth muscle around the prostate. Can mechanistically affect ejaculate.

Yep...among other things. However, it does what it says it will do and does help older guys!

Common Flomax side effects may include:

dizziness, drowsiness, weakness;

nausea, diarrhea;

headache, chest pain;

abnormal ejaculation, decreased amount of semen;

back pain;

blurred vision;

tooth problems;

fever, chills, body aches, flu symptoms;

runny or stuffy nose, sinus pain, sore throat, cough;

sleep problems (insomnia); or

decreased interest in sex.

I guess I should call my friend Tad and apologize for laughing at him when he swore that women had a prostate. He was 23 yo at the time.

Don't accidentally take too many, whatever you do.

It's uncomfortable, and dangerous.

It and another scrip were identical... I took 3 in a day....

Also ask about gabapentin. Good luck. I've dealt with prostatitus off and on for like 8 years.

Why a nerve pain medicine for prostatitis?

Only thing it helps me with is the nerve pain in my joints when I'm coming off of opiates, and I have to take 1500mgs for it to work even a little.

Flomax has been shown to diminish the penis in some patients, but typically not more than 10%.
