Fitness tracker watch recommendation?

I'm tired of holding or wearing a belt for my iPhone to keep track of running. I've tried to research fitness trackers but there are so many I'm overwhelmed. I want it to track pace, distance, calories and have a watch feature. Does anyone use such a device? Any recommendations will be awesome!

IMHO, buy a sport watch instead. You can get a garmin for $99 that will give you so much more information real time than a Fitbit.

There are 2 different sub-sets of devices IMO: Fitness/Activity trackers and Running Watches. Decide which one you want. Running watches track GPS while running but often don't track/monitor HR on a constant basis. Fitness/activity trackers monitor your HR constantly throughout the day but usually don't include a GPS feature. Obviously some devices do both, but I would decide which type of device you want and go from there.
It sounds like you want a running watch, in which case I recommend the Garmin Forerunner. They come in options ranging from $120 for the 10 to $450 for the 920XT. I think the Forerunner® 15 is a great watch for $140. Or if you want wrist-based HR, go with the Forerunner® 225 for $300.

All I will use this for is running. I have no desire for those all day all night tracking. I have looked at Garmin and have liked what they offer.

Then yeah the Garmin watches in the link I provided are the way to go. If you don't care about wrist-based heart rate, then you should be able to get something under $200 fairly easily.
The Forerunner 10, 15, 210 and 220 are all under $200 and should do everything you want depending on what specific features you require and how you want it to look.

I have the polar m400. Rated higher than the garmin that it compares to. It also has that fitbit type function on it that monitors your fatass and tells you to move when you haven't in a while. Was annoying while driving to San Antonio.
It's a nice watch and like it much better than my last garmin. If go to dcrainmaker.com and check out his reviews. Dude test everything and has real in depth reviews. That's how I found this one and I'm very pleased

I might like the feature of wrist heart rate so it can tell me before I have a heart attack trying to run in our wonderful humidity and heat lol. Thanks for the help
