I’ll tell you for sure that the most you’ll get for free is for somebody to come cut down the good oaks. They’ll take the straight stuff and you’ll be left with a whole lot of stumps and limbs to deal with. Nobody will pay you to come clear your land for you.
Odds are it’s almost all pulpwood at best and you’ll be paying somebody a good bit if you want your land completely cleared without putting your own hands on it.
There’s nothing involving a tree that isn’t either a shitload of hard work or requiring very expensive equipment.

Most people just pay to bulldoze the land which removes the stumps and levels it at the same time, then burn the wood if possible or haul it off.
If you want to put in a shite ton of work then you maybe can cut some of that cost down. But its going to require a lot of work for not much saving.

But the best advise is;
Make sure you know of your house plans that you will eventually build. You will want to possible keep some of the more desirable trees that a firewood guy would cut down, i.e. Oaks, etc
If you let someone go out there and take what they choose, you'll probably regret it later

stupid idea, forgive me. I'm coming to the great OT
Not really a stupid idea. Coming to OT was a stupid idea.
