I am a paramedic/firefighter and have been for over 20 years. The guys at the station cook and split the cost between the crew. The only donations of food are can goods dropped off for local food drives. Now from time to time people bake cookies or cakes and bring by to show appreciation for our service and those are all appreciated. At least that's how it is around here

20 year veteran here. In the city of BR, the guys put up money and share the cost of meals. Skeeter is absolutely correct. The best way though, if you wanna bless those guys is stop by, visit, ask them what they would want, need etc. It would make their day just knowing you all appreciate them.

We have people periodically drop off food for us. Some will order pizzas and have it delivered. Baked goods get brought all the time. Holiday season is the best! My station does the same, we split the cost of groceries and each shift has their own fridge. (Other shifts will rape you) lol

When I would do my community service for my DWIs at fire stations we would just play video games and eat junk food. Nuts, Candy, etc. they would also grill me burgers and other meats

It was pretty fun
no wonder you go so often

Do you understand that firemen don't go home at the end of their shift every day? They live in the fire station for days at a time. Groceries or a grocery gift card seem like pretty good gifts.

Its not like they are locked inside and can't leave.

Why would you come to OT to ask this? Like, have you never been on the OT before? Also, that's so fricking weird. I'd get a kids group or something but why are you buying a bunch of grown men food?

Agreed, drop your wife off instead
