Any of you who have gone to any fire station (or those of you who are firefighters or were) what is usually a food item that is greatly liked? Oreos and milk? Rotisserie chicken?

Fire stations don't need your little donation.

They get all their groceries for free.

No one gives a two cents sh*t what your opinion is. And secondly asshat, volunteer stations don't get crap for food and even paid ones get little. And my donations are anything but little dipsh*t. Go take your douchey tongue and lick your neighbors as*hole clean.

Why would you come to OT to ask this? Like, have you never been on the OT before? Also, that's so fricking weird. I'd get a kids group or something but why are you buying a bunch of grown men food?

When I would do my community service for my DWIs at fire stations we would just play video games and eat junk food. Nuts, Candy, etc. they would also grill me burgers and other meats

It was pretty fun

They probably like the same things everyone else likes. You seem to think of fireman as some sort of unusual pet. What do they like to eat? Cheese? Oh yeah, look, he likes it!

This is not the case in BR. Everyone splits the cost of the groceries for their shift.

A gift certificate to the closest grocery store would certainly be appreciated.

I brought a box of cookies when I had to ask them a question about fire extinguishers. They were stoked and appreciative.

I don't get why anyone would donate food to a fire station. Nobody goes to the bank and donates food for its workers. Nobody goes to a hospital, police station, auto body shop, etc and gives them food. Everybody usually has their work provide meals or they pay for that shite themselves.

Do you understand that firemen don't go home at the end of their shift every day? They live in the fire station for days at a time. Groceries or a grocery gift card seem like pretty good gifts.

I never understood why people think firefighters have there groceries paid for by the employer?

NOFD pays there own tv, newspaper, etc. the only thing the city provides is cleaning supplies.

Wrong. Have family in the line and they split food costs with their shift. They also say nothing better than going to the grocery store after a fire call in the truck and being told by assholes like you to stop wasting tax money.
