Then Pat at the end of the competition told him, "I'm sure none of your buddies will give you any grief....... Good luck with that".

News flash. We are surrounded by mouth breathing troglodytes on a daily basis. I seriously don't know how some of these idiots make it out of bed in the morning.

Wow, that's pretty dreadful. My mom was on wheel of fortune a number of years ago. She's always making fun of the morons on TV who guess stupid letters. So she's spinning the wheel a couple times and guesses "P". The puzzle now reads, and the category is "Food":

P_MP__N P__

We're in the audience, excited she's about to solve the first puzzle of the day... she spun the wheel and guessed "T"... we still can't have pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving anymore

Yes, but if I was trying out or going to be on WoF I would hope that I knew that.

Esp when you have a list of letters that have already been guessed.

But the pressure probably plays a big part. After the colossal choke job on the prior puzzle, I'm sure he was twice as nervous on this one and couldn't get out of his own head.

Wheel of fortune annoys me

How is it that Jeopardy, one of the smartest tv shows with some of the smartest people in North America, is immediately followed by Wheel of Fortune, with some of the dumbest motherfrickers on the planet as contestants?

Do you see your own hypocrisy in your making a race issue out of something that has nothing to do with race?
