Finally got upgraded to first class...

And there is a kid sitting right in front of me with his parent and he's screaming and yelling. Parents are coddling him and basically encouraging his behavior. And haven't even taken off yet.

Walk up to child and start tickling him. If that doesn't work, pretend you are an ape and act like you are pooping in your hand and throwing it on baby. Works with my kids to make them stop misbehaving, no reason it wouldn't with that one.

Esp. on an Emirates A380. That would be the nuts. The cheap seats downstairs on that plane are super nice as it is.

Flew Asiana in business class from LAX to ICN last week.
Thai business on their medium hauls isn't anything to write home about but still better than econ.
Will fly back United Shanghai to ORD.
I'm sure United won't be as good as Asiana, but I get to climb the staircase to the upper level which I've always wanted to do. After experiencing business class, I'm not messing around with economy ever again. It makes your vacation 10x better from the start not feeling like shite and eating pretty good food. I'd rather stay home than fly economy that far now.
They also feed your face the entire time. Any time I was awake they were making me sandwiches and shite

I flew business class in Emirates A380 to Dubai. The best experience of my life. The wife and I hung out in the bar in the back of the plane a good bit. Met some interesting people on that flight.

I think the most likely route I'll experience a gulf carrier may be American miles on Qatar Airways, which I'm sure is still great. I want to experience Emirates but don't want to do it just to do it. Hopefully I pick a destination that lets me use one of their routes.

I don't know how people can categorize being in a freaking missile, flying 500 mph at 30,000+ft, the best experience of ones life. But hey, to each their own.
