Few things are as annoying as the Tv studio laugh track.

Those laugh tracks are fun, edited into shows where they don't belong.

i agree.

Its seriously a major reason I dont watch much TV.
Its like the laugh track comes on to every attempted funny line in a sit com, and I sit there and think that the line spoken was not at all funny.

The person who did the laugh track for Friends should get an Emmy. Try watching it on mute with closed caption. Dumbest shite ever. You will never crack a smile. But add some recorded laughs, and morons think it is hilarious.

Laugh tracks in cartoons is what gets me. Like the flintstones etc.

I wonder who's idea that was.

That may be due to the fact that most comedy relies on timing and delivery, most of which you can't detect/sense when reading closed captioning.

That's almost as dumb as the laugh track. Of course reading the closed caption won't be as funny. Comedy is about the character and his delivery

I guess they think we are too dumb to know when to laugh.

Is this a pet peeves thread because I have several. :-)

Laugh Tracks are mind control devices trying to make you laugh at something that isn't funny.
It's also a ploy set by government to get you to think what they want you to think.

True. The unfunny Big Bang Theory is a prime example.

Hit the link for BBT without the laugh track.

I love the tv studio laugh track. Try laughing every time they laugh wether it's funny or not. It then becomes funny.

How about when I watch porn and the lady ho-bag is moaning and groaning when she is getting poked by a guy with a 3" peen.

This shite annoys the fuk out of me
