Not gone, but Piccadilly is a shell of it's former self. It used to be quite the dining experience back in the 70's & 80's, especially the one at Bon Marche. The food was much better, bigger selection, the ceilings were high with crystal chandeliers & tables had white tablecloth.
Also, anyone remember Duffs Smorgasbord? I was a little kid when it was here but remember what seemed to be an endless buffet on conveyor belts throughout the whole restaurant.
Oh, and Nooleys.

Mike Anderson's on Highland Road near the South Gates.
The new location never lived up to the original place.

Storheim's Custard in Green Bay.
We used to stop there after soccer games to get frozen custard and their burgers were great too. If you like Culver's, Storheim's was basically that before they were.

I've maybe seen a couple of Shoney's around in Georgia, but all of the locations in the various places I've live throughout the state have all closed.
I, too, echo the Shoney's sentiment. I used to love their salad bar as a kid before they started going to full hot food buffets all of the time. Their breakfast buffet was legit as well. On Tuesday nights in the early 90s, the one in my hometown had kids eat free, so my dad (RIP) would always take my little sister and me while my mom was taking night classes to teach. I have a lot of fond memories of that place. The Sunday breakfast was always a special occasion for us as well.
I also hate that Mazzio's pizza closed up. That was our go-to fast food style pizza joint. One night a week they had the pizza buffet. As a kid growing up and playing sports, I could probably put away a lot more pizza than I can now at age 32. They also had Cruisin' USA which I played the shite out of.

Taste of China was my first experience with the Chinese buffet, miss that place.
Showbiz was awesome as a kid, now it's Chuck E Cheese, I remember the pizza was much better at Showbiz.
