Whats the best site price wise? Looking for Roman tub spout and custom shower fixtures.

2 different plumbing supply houses told me that the faucets sold at the big box stores may look the same but they are made cheaper.

Without going into detail, i don't believe that. Has anybody else been handed this line of BS?

They are a cheaper grade at Lowes/Home Depot

if you want quality you will need to get a quote from someplace like LCR/Coburns/Southern Pipe/Ferguson, ect.

This recommendation is coming from a Plumbing Contractor.

Check the big faucet web sites for what u like the search that model number to see who has the best price.

American Standard, Sloan, Kholer, ect

You might check out Barnett Brass. Much more than just faucets, and great prices if you spend more than $500 per order.

Got mine from faucet depot for a good price. It is an odd one, so there aren't ever any sales on them. Excellent customer service

I got a Chicago faucets faucet. The neck on the one I bought came out too far (because their website specs weren't correct). After installing it and using it for a couple of days, I called faucet depot and told them my problem. They mailed me a smaller neck for free, and included a return label in the box. Then, the guy called and asked how the new one fit a week later

I was a licensed contractor for 20+ years

How can this be? If Delta has the same fixture at Home Depot and Coburns Plumbing, I am expected to believe its better made for Coburns.?

I don't buy that. I anyone cares to explain I am all ears.

I don't think there is any difference when comparing the same fixtures. Those places will have higher end options though.

When I was looking at stuff, companies had similar looking stuff, but they had different mixers and seals in them. Plastic vs metal and plastic vs rubber
